Something always goes wrong and if you knew it was going to, you could just sleep in. Or just not get up at all. Or listen to the new Purwien & Kowa. You can even do all of these at the same time by the way, because you can buy the new EP, Die Liebe tanzt (Love dances), from the comfort of your bed and listen away immediately.

But beware, you might start the day dancing. Or with love. Or even worse, with both! Now let's get to the songs on the EP. That's what this is about after all:

The title track Die Liebe tanzt will win you over with its unusual setting, hypnotic piano, wave sequences, sweet female singing and Christian's charismatic voice. It was a bold move to pick this song as the first single, but then you could never accuse Purwien & Kowa of behaving cowardly. Purwien and Kowa collaborated with Bianca Stücker & Rafaela Schützner, also known as BRS, to produce this single.

Most of you will still remember Alle Fehler (All mistakes) from the Purwien album Eins. This version was created during the brutal boredom of Corona lockdown. But isn't what you do when you're bored not sometimes the best stuff? At least as long as you disregard binge watching of Dallas episodes, stalking silverfish colonies at home and modern art created from boogers.

Summe aller Teile (Sum of all parts) is another preview to the album Vier. Daniel Zieske, the better half of the deceased Framework, fed it through the grinder some four times and created something new and dark. Great art, even if it's not by us.

The VNV-N-Remix from Die Liebe tanzt sounds as if VNV-Nation had remixed it, or at least they did in our imagination. But be careful with this song on the dancefloor, it's ferocious!

Breathless closes the EP, a spontaneously improvised analogue concoction and therefore not worth talking about. Or maybe it is?

By the way the new Purwien & Kowa album Vier (Four) is coming out on 31st June 2020 for download and CD. The compulsory book with the promising title Tausche Ehe Minus gegen Freundschaft Plus (I swap marriage minus for friendship plus) will hopefully be presented to the world on 25th September 2020. But you never know, it could be a tricky one.
